Mugs: Sitting beside the creek or atop a hill and lacking my usual tools and curated studio, I was forced to adapt and make due. Using stones and other foraged “tools” in the landscape around me, I began to Pinch these mugs. Inspired by the beauty in the spontaneous forms and horizons that make up the Catskill Mountain Range and the feelings of joy and interconnectivity when traversing the outdoors. I now hold onto these ideas and virtues back in my studio as I continue to create.
